Saying goodbye to Vienna...

After three days of exploration, meat and cheese, overdosing on history and hangovers it was slightly bittersweet to leave Vienna. I loved every bit of it.

Just another image of Strauss... I went back of course.

These ones are from my Car (Canon 5D Mark II) and as such,
are unedited. I will let you know when I have put the edited photos up.

I left the apartment with Graham and got into a crazy little bike taxi and got bumped around in a free ride (the "driver" or more appropriately, rider was a friend of Grahams) to the ring then we went back in to visit Johann Strauss I and have a stroll around. I was feeling pretty ill from the festivities of the night prior so it wasn't quite what I would call a fruitful day and Graham had to go back to work that night anyway so we just kept it short and sweet plus the day was pretty cloudy to boot.

For the last day of Vienna, it was cloudy and raining but there was luckily a protest for violence against women so the trams were not able to go around the ring which made it easier to just walk around and gape like a landbound fish at more incredible sights. Of which there were many.
Another opera house, the Parliament building, another one which is also the courthouse, monuments and sculptures galore and ended up at the museums - one side was the museum of natural history and the other was the museum of arts. Unfortunately, time had gotten the best of me so I had to reluctantly go back to Grahams, have a nap then get to the airport and fly back to Paris.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up going back there before the end of my holidays, I HAVE to get inside these museums and just explore some more. I have to. That city is too awesome to leave like that.
If you go to Vienna, I recommend at least a week.

Auf wiedersehen, Austria. In the words of one of your most famous citizens...
"I'll be back."

I apologise for the lack of the next video - European wifi seems to be really bad. It took me two days of constant attempts to upload the first one because it kept dropping out in Vienna and in France, well... It's going to take 2,790 minutes to upload, apparently. So I beg your understanding and patience. The video IS already finished, and I've already got enough material for the third and half the fourth but I cannot do anything about the uploading issue :( I can't even go to an internet cafe because apparently there isn't one. EVERYONE has wifi nowadays.

Ah, yes, I nearly forgot. I also found out that I had won the Favorite Person category in the 2012 Able Australia DeafBlind Photography contest again! Two years in a row. YEAHHHH! Here is the winning photo:

I really like how this picture could be ANYTHING. Moonlight. Lamp. Whatever. :)

The second video of my vlog. :)

Next episode: Paris, Adrian, the Sacre Coeur, George and Agnes, baguettes and a mad skedaddling drive through the city!
